Don’t you mean she and her, not him and he.
This is a testament to the toxicity and mind games men impose on women. She's clearly stronger than him and yet he managed to damage her (character) so bad.
Emma🌃🌠Tell me a long ass shift doing in the Burger stand actually know where are
Is it impossible for Cooter to redeem himself? My mom always taught me that anyone can redeem themselves if they truly repent and own their faults. Now obviously Cooter doesn't count since he'd been manipulating Beiste and continuing his temper. Suppose, hypothetically, that never happened, just 100% crying and remorse and not even begging her to stay with him. Are there times your actions keep you at fault forever, no matter how much sorrow you feel over them? Is Cooter a good example, even in my hypothetical question?
"How did WE let it get this far?" Hurts every time
Dot Marie Jones single-handedly saved Glee's last episodes of the trainwreck season 3 was. I'm still pissed she didn't win the Emmy for her superb acting, one of the best depictions of domestic violence american television has shown. The fear of keep getting hurt if you stay but the anxiety of losing the "love" and "care" of the person you're attached to if you leave
This is heart breaking =[
Probably my favorite scene in the entire show. Its a shame this show lost every ounce of soul and effort it once had.
"I always feel like...no matter what I do...I let you down."
Everything about this scene was outstanding. One of the show's best moments.
She could have kicked his ass why she let him hit her
Because she’s not a violent person, just because she hits the gym and looks big. She’s a nice person, probably don’t like fights.
Why couldn´t they handle Marleys eating disorder the same way. This was brilliant.
"I don't hate you. that's the awful part of it. I love you" That's such a powerful line.
Como lloré con esa escena La sigo viendo y sigo llorando
I work in a job where a lot of our clients deal with domestic violence and this scene deals with it so well. It hits why people won’t leave and is tasteful without being overplayed. Makes me cry more than not.
this is the best scene of glee. Who’s gonna love you the way that I loved you? 'Me'
It’s sad that it’s hard for her to leave her husband, but she doing this for herself as she can’t stay in a relationship. She can’t stay with someone that’s gonna keep hurting her. She did the best thing in leaving, the person that’s hurting her.
How did I find this
Episode?
FUCK YES. I LOVE HER SO MUCH, STILL AFTER THIS LONG, I LOVE HER <3
Good for you, Beiste 🔥
I love beastie enough to overlook that her favorite pizza is Hawaiian
Eso mamona!!!! I love her
How can you love someone without loving yourself
I think this song fits perfectly rn "I don't need your love oh oh, oh"
When he said who’s gonna love you like me and she said Me hit so differently
I wish I had the same level of strength and courage 💙
Probably one of the most powerful moments on glee her saying me took the abusers power away
Dot Jones is a great actress
I wish when I left my abusive ex I had been this strong. This makes me feel so empowered as a survivor
When she said "I don't hate you that's the awful part of it. I love you! " I never related to anything more... My ex boyfriend put me through hell and I still love him....
Self love always comes first!!
Is that Rue Baker, from Major League II?
She's my favourite I loved this scene
Beiste is lucky that Roz and Sue helped him when that husband hit Beiste, if he didn’t, Beiste would have been stuck there until who knows how long until he realised that he needs to leave the abusive husband, you could tell that he was undermining Beistes confidence, the confident person that Beiste is. How he was using manipulative ways on to keep Beiste as his wife. Because a lot of people don’t have friends or family who would do something like that.
Don’t you mean she and her, not him and he.
Now That Is An ICON!!!
Glee really knew how to flesh out the underrated characters… and then do them dirty by canning them the following season.
She only has a few words in this scene, but that makes what she DOES say so much more powerful!!!
sorry but why does cooter look like a thumb
I remember this song when I was in 8th grade in middle school
What chapter is it?
Cooter was a nice guy and a good football recruiter, but a lousy husband. I would have left him after eating the pizza.
Her strength made up for the fact that she likes pineapple on pizza
yes this fucking scene gives me so much life
Dot Marie Jones is so underrated
The thing with abusers is they are the ones who need their victims, but they'll gaslight a partner to make him or her think they can do no better.
Glee handled a lot of issues. It may not have done all of them well, but they did this one right.
😭
Ok... There is no way that dude in red can best up that dude in blue. Sorry no way that happens.
I love this man 😭😭😭
